Plainfield Holiday Lights Celebration

Now on its third year, the Borough of Roselle Park celebrates their Annual Winter Market. This 3-day event kicks off with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as you enjoy special performances by local artists and bands. There will be free family portraits with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as an Ice Skating rink, activities for the kids, and a variety of craft and food vendors as well as a beer garden!
2023 Union Township Winter Wonderland and Holiday Village

Celebrate this season of joy and come around Union Township for their annual Winter Wonderland and Holiday Village. There will be food trucks and artisan vendors as well as live music performances. Enjoy the ice skating and curling rinks, or drop by Santa's workshop or the Cookie station! There will also be fire pit areas and a 360 photo booth.

Enjoy a special treat for the little ones! Spicy sweet gingerbread is part of the holiday season, and the Miller-Cory House Museum will let you immerse yourself in all things gingery. There will be anon-edible gingerbread house-making activity for kids, and the staff will also be demonstrating and offering visitors a chance make orange pomanders, which have been decking the halls since the Victorian era, but date back to medieval times.

It will be a colorful night of celebration with family, community, and culture! Now celebrating its 22nd year, come around Plainfield Performing Arts Theater for the annual Kwanzaa Celebration and enjoy some African storytelling, join the traditional Candle Ceremony, and savor some delicious cultural food! There will also be spoken word and dance performances.
